Devon Chandler, One Night Only

I can report that “Personae: Deliberate Dissociative Disorder”, my three-artist, solo show at White Space Contemporary in Ogden, Utah has gone, um, swimmingly.  The reviews are gushy and sales put the show into the black on opening night.  Feels good.

C. N. Chandler’s work prompted comments like “really damn good” and “museum quality”.  Well, okay.   C. Noortmann C.’s “Brief Trespass” series was easily the hit of the show, with an outsized share of the attention, inquiries, and sales.  Collin N. C.’s “Swimmers” had all the attendees under twenty-five heading directly to the back wall, whispering and smirking.  A fair number of those over twenty-five as well.  For Ogden Utah, it was truly amazing.

But opening night was over a week ago, you say.  What have I done for you lately?  Tonight!  Devon Chandler plays guitar in White Space from 7-9 pm, completely upstaging my paintings.  If you couldn't make it to the opening, or didn't think my work was worth seeing, you can't pass up stopping in tonight for a glass of wine, a hunk of bread, the conversation of friends and neighbors, and, of course, the music of Dev.

See you tonight!
